If your quick you can get all three in before he climbs the wall. Just quickly stomp on his head three times. He is one of the easier bosses in the game. Using a cape, you can jump from the highest point to the left, or you may jump off of Yoshi's back in mid air. However, getting to the top of the pipe is a little tricky. A little past the mid-level gate there is a half length blue pipe suspended in the air. To do this one you will need either a cape or a Yoshi. In Forest of Illusion 4, once again you will need to find the key. The key will give you access to Roy's castle. If you go down this pipe, you will find the key surrounded by yellow bricks that can be broken with you're A-Button jump when you are big. Almost at the end of the level there is a very tall green pipe. In Forest of Illusion 3, the key isn't all that hard to find, however you will need to be big to get it. Go through the gate and you will unlock Forest of Illusion 4. The beautifully rendered environments, Mickey’s smooth animation, the gorgeous storybook presentation: all meant to distract from the 8-bit era hop-and-bop platforming.
Keep going to the left and go through the first door you find. Castle of Illusion for the Genesis is indeed a visual masterpiece a Disney cartoon come to life but the game clearly values style over substance.

Once you are in the second pit with overhead coins, feel free to smash the P-Block and quickly pass through the blue door that appears to the far right. Don't smash it yet! Instead carry it past the first pit with a row of overhead coins. At the end of the second segment of the House, you will find a blue P-Block. In order to continue progress through the Forest, you will want to beat it this specific way. The Forest Ghost House is a little tricky.
Since a picture is worth a thousand words, here's a picture of the location in question. The wall to the left of the yellow block is fake, or if not fake, part of the background, meaning you can walk through it. At the bottom of the dive there will be a yellow block. About three quarters of the way through the level, you will be required to swim down for a bit. Finding the key in Forest of Illusion 2 can be a little tricky, but its very important since it will provide access to the Blue Switch palace.
